With the blue horse, Ivan uses 24 shades of blue. For months, 10 hours a day, drawing all the reflections and shadows, the shimmering of the animal's coat. This is a very complex meticulous academic work, requiring great talent and diligence.

The painting shows a scene where there is opportunity for a viewer to guess and imagine what happened over a cup of coffee a few minutes before on the depicted scene. The main character is a woman sitting in the cafe, with a straight, a little sarcastic face, drinking coffee, in the foreground there is an empty chair and an unfinished cup of coffee. In the background, other cafe visitors, looking in one direction, possibly seeing off the companion of the main character, who got up and left after a discussion.

The work talks about protection, confidence, reliability. The color spectrum of the work is concentrated on yellow shades, which embodies warmth, joy and optimism. The girl in the picture is depicted in an embrace, her face expression is serene and calm.

The painting “April” depicts a scene where the central figure is a modern woman, surrounded by people passing by in a rush, but she is calm, relaxed, in anticipation of something new. The background of the picture is dynamic, people in motion symbolize the transience of time where the heroine captures the importance of the moment involving herself into inner reflections. The name of the work is chosen on purpose, April is a spring month, “opening” in translation, the beginning of spring, the beginning of flowering. The color palette of the work takes us to the feeling of the first warm spring days, where cold shadows border on gentle shades of spring.

Secrets always excite our imagination, like everything not known. But some things, people, events remain a mystery to us, because not all riddles are solved, and we do not always need answers. The inexplicable receives a more powerful sensual return than what we can explain logically. It is important for me to leave room for mystery, miracle, room for fantasy. In this work, I wanted to convey exactly this, in the context of a person's aura, his personal emotional atmosphere, without answering unnecessary questions.

The term "Landscape" comes from the French word for country or territory. Initially it was not usual to paint people in a landscape, later landscape became just a background for a person, even later a person began to "decorate" the landscape. In this painting, the landscape has become for me a literal translation-land, because any area is first of all the people living there. The image of nomads conveys my view of my own life journey. Every day, month, year, there are little stops to see where you're going, what you really want, to see if you've lost yourself along the way. This painting for me is a portal to every point in my memories, it is like the voice of intuition that appears at just the right moment and watercolor whispers where to go next, after disappearing like mirages in the desert.

Another work of reflection on the theme of nature and the elements, which are an inseparable part of man. We are born with a chaotic set of emotions and feelings, which in the process of life take concrete shapes, are nurtured, and acquire new facets. Camels are our feelings, which we learn to manage so that we do not go astray and fall out of the stream of life, which is rushing towards new horizons, opening up new possibilities for us.

Breathing, breathing, taking a breath, pausing, resting-all part of the movement. To keep going, a person needs to regain his resources, no matter what goal he's moving toward. "Stopping" can sound intimidating, we fear that something will end, will stop. But sometimes it is important to stop and check with your inner compass to see if it has gone astray, if the dust of old roads has clogged it, to quench your thirst and continue on your way again. As I regain my strength, the quality of the journey improves. I am learning to be mindful of this.

After the word three, the competition usually begins, and the image of the tiger, in the conventional sense, is considered a symbol of strength and talent. In this painting I tried to convey a balance of danger and strength in the face of the tigers, with lightness and play in the image of water. The tigers are diving for a goldfish that can grant a single wish. "The goldfish" in Russian fairy tales is synonymous with the fulfillment of a wish, you only have to catch it and ask for it. This synthesis of images in the picture, conveys my vision of wish fulfillment in life. Moreover, there are always several desires competing in a person. But by going through all the real dangers and getting stronger, you can clearly see, as through the clear water in the painting, what you really need. And understand that the very, single wish that you can ask for from the magic fish is to keep dreaming.

Now many have begun to talk about the coming era of the Metamodern, designed to counteract the destructive impact on the human soul and psyche of the postmodern era. This seems to me to be possible only through the search for pure, perhaps naive and shy in its inexperience beauty. I strive to find and feel this beauty, which for me is the very breath of life. This unreal reality, or, on the contrary, the real unreality in which lies the inner life of man... That which gives energy to live and to enjoy each new day. Maybe it is a romantic return to the original. Maybe it is a return to modernity, which begins to live in the present and will nourish the culture of the future. That is why I increasingly want to write flora and fauna as direct and unconditional characters of a natural, pure and uncontaminated nature, where man can lose his place. This search is like a search for a lost paradise. But which can also be found at any moment, if only to abandon the pride of superiority and return the soul to a luminous and peaceful attitude toward reality. This painting is the result of my reflections on the idyll, with an emphasis on surrealism. An experiment of combinations of form, movement, space and interaction. Inspired by the purity and immediacy of nature, I wanted to create an image that, while remaining real and distinctive, would exist according to the laws of dream and fantasy, creating a separate universe.

These camels are like impressions, they sometimes run through us, whether we are ready for it or not. In this picture, they seem to give us time to prepare, as if there is still time to step aside, to give up this impression, because the new is often scary. But I want to get rid of this fear, and learn to stand firmly in front of the impending elements, nature and life itself. I thought about it when I painted this picture.
